मैनपुरी। हरियाणा से तस्करी कर दो ट्रकों में लाई जा रही अंग्रेजी शराब की 115 पेटियां पुलिस ने बरामद की हैं। बरामद शराब की कीमत करीब 15 लाख रुपये बतायी गई है।
पुलिस ने कुरावली की ओर से आ रहे दो ट्रकों को शहर में ईशन नदी तिराहे पर घेराबंदी कर रोक लिया। इस दौरान उनमें सवार लोग भागने लगे। पुलिस ने तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया, जबकि दो फरार हो गए।
ट्रकों की केबिन के पीछे लोहे के खाने बने थे, जिनमें अवैध अंग्रेजी शराब छिपी हुई थी। एक ट्रक से 101 और दूसरे से 14 पेटी अंग्रेजी शराब बरामद हुई है। पकड़े तस्करों ने अपने नाम धर्मवीर निवासी दौलतपुर थाना करहल, अवधेश निवासी गांव ओन्हा थाना कुर्रा और अशोक निवासी गांव खरौली विशुनगढ़ कन्नौज बताए हैं।
धर्मवीर व अवधेश चालक व अशोक क्लीनर बताया गया है। पकड़े गए आरोपितों ने बताया कि बरामद शराब शहर के मुहल्ला अग्रवाल निवासी राजू राठौर की है। पुलिस को देखकर वह और एक ट्रक चालक भाग गए।
अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक ओमप्रकाश सिंह ने बताया कि बरामद शराब हरियाणा से तस्करी कर लाई गई है। फरार तस्करों को जल्द गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा। मूंगफली के नीचे छिपाने की चर्चा
