सुप्रीम कोर्ट के आदेष के अनुपालन में नदियों में गणपति प्रतिमाओं का विसर्जन नहीं किया जा सकेगा। प्रषासन ने श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा को देखते हुए अतिरिक्त इंतजाम कराए हैं।
रविवार से मंगलवार तक गणपति प्रतिमाओं का विसर्जन होना है। अकेले षहर में ही लगभग एक सैकड़ा लोगों ने अलग-अलग पंडालों के अलावा घरों में गणपति प्रतिमा की स्थापना कराई है। रविवार को ज्यादातर प्रतिमाओं का विसर्जन होना है। अब से पहले ईषन नदी में ही प्रतिमाओं को विसर्जित किया जाता था। लेकिन, इस बार प्रषासन बेहद सख्त नजर आ रहा है।
षनिवार को एसडीएम सदर रजनीकांत और कोतवाली प्रभारी ओमहरी वाजपेयी ने बैठक में जानकारी देते हुए बताया कि नुमाइष के पास ईषन नदी से थोडी दूरी पर अलग इंतजाम कराए गए है। 20 फुट चैडा और 30 फुट गहरा गड्ढा खुदवाया गया है। इसमें नीचे पाॅलीथिन लगवाकर पानी भरवाया गया है। इसी गड्ढे में गणपति प्रतिमाओं का विसर्जन कराने की व्यवस्था कराई गई है। किसी प्रकार की अनहोनी न हो, इसके लिए पुलिस की भी तैनाती कराई जाएगी।
