बरेली। एसआरएमएस मेडिकल कॉलेज के पीजी हॉस्टल में देर रात मेडिकल छात्रा की जिंदा जलकर मौत हो गयी। बिहार के पटना की रहने वाली सुकीर्ति शर्मा एसआरएमएस मेडिकल कॉलेज से इंटर्न कर रही थी। पीजी हॉस्टल के कमरा नंबर 320 में वह रहती थी। कालेज सूत्रों का कहना है कि रूम में हीटर लगा हुआ था । इसकी वजह से आग लग गई। गुरुवार रात तीन बजे जब हॉस्टल के कमरे से धुआं निकलने लगा तो वहां हड़कंप मच गया। इसकी सूचना कालेज प्रबंधन को दी गई। वहीं कुछ साथी छात्र छात्राओं का आरोप है कि कॉलेज प्रशासन की लापरवाही की वजह से सुकीर्ति की मौत हुई है।

छात्रा के परिवार वालों को सूचना दी गई है। मामले की जांच पड़ताल की जा रही है। फॉरेंसिक टीम मौके पर पहुंच गई है। एसपी देहात डॉक्टर संसार सिंह ने बताया कि छात्रा सुकीर्ति शर्मा एमबीबीएस कर चुकी थी। एमबीबीएस करने के बाद इंटर्न कर रही थी। सिंगल बेड रूम में रहती थी। बेड के नीचे उन्होंने हीटर लगा रखा था। इसकी वजह से आग लग गई । पूरा कमरा जलकर राख हो गया। दरवाजे खिड़की भी जल गए हैं। बॉडी पूरी तरह से जल गई है। सीएफओ मामले की जांच पड़ताल कर रहे हैं। शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेजा जा रहा है।

इस घटना से पटना निवासी सूरज शर्मा के घर गमगीन माहौल है। परिजन रोते-रोते यह कहते मिले कि कभी सोचा नहीं था कि ऐसा भी हो सकता है। बताया कि सुकीर्ति पढ़ने में बहुत तेज थी।
