यूपी बोर्ड ने पांच जिलों के 72 परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित 12वीं और 10वीं की परीक्षाओं को रद्द कर दिया है। जिला विद्यालय निरीक्षकों द्वारा हाईस्कूल और इंटरमीडिएट की परीक्षाओं के दौरान अनुचित साधनों या अन्य विसंगतियों की जांच के बाद इन परीक्षाओं को रद्द किया गया है। जिन पांच जिलों में परीक्षा रद्द की गई हैं उनमें प्रयागराज, बलिया, गाजीपुर, मऊ और अलीगढ़ शामिल हैं।
बोर्ड की सचिव नीना श्रीवास्तव ने आदेश जारी किया है कि उल्लिखित विषयों की पुनः परीक्षा अब 12 मार्च, 2020 को सुबह 8 से 11.15 के बीच होगी। जो संबंधित जिलों में डीआईओएस द्वारा बनाए गए नए परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित की जाएगी।
बोर्ड के आदेश के अनुसार, 20 फरवरी को मऊ जिले के 67 परीक्षा केंद्रों पर आयोजित इंटरमीडिएट भौतिक विज्ञान की परीक्षाएं रद्द कर दी गई थी। जो अब 12 मार्च, 2020 को जिला मुख्यालय में संबंधित डीआईओएस द्वारा नामित नए परीक्षा केंद्र में आयोजित होगी।
